Dr. Justina Tychanski BSc, DC
Dr Justina Tychanski, BSc, DC, was raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba where she completed her undergraduate biology degree before heading off to pursue her Doctor of Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario.
Dr Tychanski helps patients reach their goals through a combination of joint manipulation and mobilization, individualized rehabilitative exercises, functional integrated acupuncture, soft tissue therapy, myofascial release technique (MRT), and patient education and empowerment. She has a particular interest in rehab and loves getting everyone from the athlete to the weekend warrior moving well!
Career highlights to date include having provided a safe environment for access to healthcare for lower-income and LGBTQ populations at Toronto's Sherbourne Health Centre; having conducted a weekly seniors exercise class in the North York community; as well as having providing chiropractic treatment for the Toronto Triathlon Festival and the Toronto Spartan Volleyball League.
Dr Tychanski was a varsity runner, racing in cross country and track and field for the University of Manitoba Bisons, who recently expanded horizons to undertake her first triathlon. She was also a long-time (16 years!) Ukrainian dancer and instructor, who still enjoys being active in Winnipeg's thriving Ukrainian community.
